Oh oh….I just tried it and was very surprised to see my left side not co-operating. My left wrist formed a huge archway – 3 inches off the ground with only my knuckles touching the floor and my left shoulder was very uncomfortable and slightly painful. Right side was perfectly aligned. I know I have lots of issues on the left side of my body since my MVA in 2006. I will follow your program and keep you posted. Thanks to the Universe for bringing me to your website today. Cheers! Reply

I got buy that one probably because muscle memory or practice however much work for this old rodeo man no Days off
Sorry for the confusion..I first answered this wrong at first try..
My ribs hit the floor correctly..My right wrist very close. However,
my left wrist is about 6 inches from the floor.. I am in a lot of
pain from Sciatica..I am a 24/7 caregiver for my husband who is
a disabled vet..A lot of stress!!!
no problem with this one 🙂
Fine, though I could feel a stretch in front of my shoulders at first.
Able to do,but felt a little tight.
Passed but, recently getting therapy. Most often I struggle with left sided tension. That recently resolved and now it’s right.
Could only get right wrist 5 3/4″ from the floor and my left wrist 4 1/2″ from the floor. Also, the distance between my neck and the floor was 2 1/4″. When I forced my wrists to the floor, I lost connection with my back to the floor. There was tightness in my chest muscles.
Hi Dr Steve,
I am having a problem with the CPS Self Test #1 & #2 videos. The link doesn’t play?
I have tried to play them on IPads and Windows laptops but neither work.
I would like to complete the tests as I think they may help with my on-going lower back and hamstring problems.
Thanks in anticipation.
All seems to be working fine now.
I could only get my left wrist 3″ from the floor and my right wrist 1″ from the floor. Also when I forced my wrists to the floor, I lost connection with my back to the floor. There was also tightness in my chest muscles and upper arms, especially in my left shoulder.
cant get either wrist to the floor .very tight in chest
this work is tailor made for you then, Kathy.
Able to do it but wrists dont touch the ground
I could keep my mid back and my shoulders to elbow on the floor. Elbow to hand could not touch the floor. Hands about 4 inches off floor. Felt strain in shoulders.
I COULD get the backs of my hands on the floor, but not my wrists. When I turned my head to look over my shoulder, I felt the Sciatic pains in my bottom.
Fine for me, no issues.
Could get wrists down only by arching neck and back. The first time I tried a few weeks ago, I FORCED the back, neck and wrists into position by sheer determination. The strain pulled me out of alignment and intensified the problems I want to solve. (My mistake and not your fault in any way.) Thank goodness for my chiropractor. Since watching more of your YouTube segments, I understand the process better. I hope to end a 20-year battle with debilitating cramps in feet, ankles, legs, arms, abdomen and hands. The problem must be structural, since I’ve been on MANY supplements suggested by expert practitioners. For example, taking magesium and other minerals is no more effective for me than drinking water.
Dr. Steve, I will have no doubt that I am better when I can sleep in any position other than flat on my back with a pillow under my knees. No one can explain to me why when I try to turn onto either side in the bed, it takes about 60 seconds before the cramping begins, no matter how many pillows I use to support my body. If I stay on my back, I have 4-5 hours before I have problems. If you like a challenge, here I am.
Ribs not flat, left wrist off floor. Sigh!
No problem, it’s fine for me.
Well, my floor Angel needs help for sure… Could not flatten wrists without arching my back…. Chest very tight…. Even arching my back, my left wrist was like, Nope, not gonna do it and you can’t make me….. for now, anywho…
Enjoy the fundamentals series, Tresea. Sounds like upper crossed syndrome for sure.

Oh dear, very tight in my chest, could not get my wrists to touch the floor at all, even if I lifted my rib cage off the floor!! My floor angel needs a lot of help!!
my right wrist lays flat but the left will not
Not good 🙁 I can’t get either of my arms or wrists to touch the floor. There is a distance of about 30cm between the floor and my wrists.
Very uncomfortable across the chest and painful when standing up again across the ribs and chest.
A little discomfort. Ribcage down but wrists 1 to 2 cm off the ground.
I’m a little confused. The ribs in my upper back do touch the floor. Are you supposed to be able to get the arch out entirely from your curve? I do push down but I can only make my mid back flat if I push back with my bent feet. Is that ok? My right wrist goes easily down but my left wrist is about one inch up off the floor.
O.K. with this one.
Neither wrist touches the floor. Close but a small gap between both.
