The #1 Reason To Focus On Balance…And Health In General (from the sledding hill)

Nathaniel (my 9 year old son) and I spent my quick lunch break yesterday on the sledding hill and I was inspired to share the #1 reason WHY to focus on balance and health in general.

It's funny how doing something DIFFERENT sparks the desire to be creative and serve!  I challenge you do the same or risk falling into a loop of insanity…doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result!

So go out and PLAY (just watch Nathaniel in this episode…he'll show you the way!)

  1. Yellow snow might just be healthier than some of the processed foods I used to eat. LOL I love the attitude of having fun in the snow rather than complaining how inconvenient and dangerous is it. It is so uplifting to see you having so much fun with your kids. Thanks for letting us have a window to your world. I think balance is one of those things that we take for granted, like breathing, until it becomes difficult. I have been working a lot on balance recently and giving it a lot of thought. However I have been "working" at it. Watching this today has prompted me to think of ways I can "play" my way to improving my balance. Thanks again for helping me smile more.

  2. LOVE IT!!  Always can count on feeling uplifted and inspired after your video posts. The tips on balance are so vital too.  My aging mom is recovering from a broken hip for just that reason of balance and someone recently said to me that the elderly need to prevent falling at all costs.  Boy was he right!  Everyday I have been making a consious effort to do some sort of balancing and it's amazing how quickly you see improvement.

    Thanks, Dr. Steve!

  3. Hi Dr Steve! Great video! Brought a big smile to my face! Over the last 2-3 months I've not been nearly as diciplined with doing your circuits and boy have I noticed a decline in my balance. So I'm back on it and starting to get back in the head space of "going Pro" with it as you'd once said. And you're SO right – life is meant to be fun where spirits are lifted and laughter comes naturally… So bring it on! Thanks for sharing…

    Cheers, Kristina

  4. Aww, I love it…"that was awesome"and so inspiring!! I totally felt the thrill and was going down that hill with you all!! Thank you for the reminder on why we focus on mindset, movement and nutrition…truly it is so that we can enjoy life to the fullest (have fun) and out of that serve others. Life is an adventure and at times rather hard, but at the same time So Good and filled with so many gifts from our Creator (like this video to inspire and cheer us). Be blessed today!

  5. Glad you got to enjoy the snow with your son.
I love playing in the snow, walking in the snow, making snow angels, and snow men too.

Followed by a hot cup of tea 🙂

  6. I enjoyed seeing that, Steve, and hearing your advice!  I have enjoyed sledding with my children as well.  Very refreshing to "be a kid again" for a few moments!  ðŸ™‚
